Salt Lake City vs Oklahoma City (living, cost, better, compare)

Out of these cities, which would you rather live in?? Which has the most amenities that satisfies your needs?? Make sure to include the following to make your decision:

I'm saying Oklahoma City because they've got Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma Thunder, and that in my books is already better than any kind of natural scenery that Salt Lake City can dish out.
Plus I like the size of Oklahoma City's skyline more, and other major cities aren't as far away from Oklahoma City as they are for Salt Lake City.
But I do like the mountain backdrop, don't get me wrong, if they had a Los Angeles, Denver, or Seattle type of skyline, then hell that be pretty cool.
Better layout: The guys with the Thunder
Better parks: Where the Thunders play
Better public transportation: Oklahoma City
Better economy: Oklahoma City
Better housing costs: No idea.
Better nightlife: Right outside the stadium after Kevin Durant wins a game.
Better restaurants: Probably inside the stadium, just kidding- I liked some of the food places in OKC.
Better shopping: Gift shop at the stadium... just kidding, I don't know.
Better schools/universities: OKC
Better museums: The stadium where the Thunder play, if it counts.
I'm from Oklahoma and will pick OKC in this poll. However, do you people realize Salt Lake has an NBA team? They are also pretty consistently in the playoffs too. Also, no way OKC beat SLC in transportation. Look at some pictures of the light rail in SLC. It's pretty dang cool.
I use to live in Tulsa and would frequent OKC, nice city overall. nice people. I have never been to Utah but love the mountains around it. I really can't say till I vist SLC.

How much do you really know about SLC?
How does OKC have a better layout than SLC? SLC is one of the easiest cities to get around in the entire country.
SLC also has much better public transportation than OKC. SLC has a fairly extensive light rail system that is constantly being expanded as well as an excellent bus network.
How does OKC have better universities? If you're referring to OU (which isn't even in OKC), it's highly debatable whether OU is "better" than the University of Utah.

I like both of these cities. In terms of what each has to offer, I think they're about equal. If you're looking big city amenities, Oklahoma City may have a slight advantage. Not because it offers more, but because it's closer to Dallas. Salt Lake is pretty much by itself. If you can't find it, you may need to take a road trip down the 15 into Las Vegas.
Cost of living in Oklahoma City is great as well. My wife's uncle lives in a super nice home for which he paid only $220,000. I know Salt Lake isn't too expensive either, but not sure how a similar house would compare.
I think that if I had to pick one or the other, I'd have to go with Salt Lake. I enjoy the setting there a lot more than the plains feel in Oklahoma City. Some pretty impressive mountains surround Salt Lake City, so that would most likely be my deciding factor.
Good poll topic. These mid-sized metros often get overlooked here on CD.
