ZOMG not again , enough of these Jersey vs. the US threads they get annoying after a while. Jersey City is too tiny to compare with ATL. Maybe Philly or Boston , but not JC. But i like JC alot so it gets my vote.

Not really.

Jersey City: population; 241,114
Atlanta: population; 540,921

Both smallish cities.

Still to big to compare. In my mind.

Jersey City is 15 square miles, 242K in pop, and has a population density of 16,000ppsm
An NYC metro city.

ATL is 131 square miles, 540K in pop, and has a population density of 4,000ppsm
A stand alone city.

I choose JC because of location, density, diversity, 4 seasons, and public transportation, but I'm not getting into it any further- the comparison is way out of whack... What's up with all these southern area vs NJ area threads anyway?
Judging by the OP's name "DC90"- I'm assuming it's a duplicate account from a poster from the "Buckehead vs Hoboken" thread

Atlanta.

Jersey City has alot of good qualities but it is too small to compare to a major city like Atlanta. Where are the big city sports teams for instance.

We've had enough Jersey and on top of that enough Atlanta comparisons in the room for a while. Time for a break.
