You drove through non-coastal south Georgia. What do you expect? That part of the state is poor, in comparison to the northern half of Georgia, where seventy to eighty percent of the state lives.

Those things might be cool, but nothing worth 50 posts... there are so many other things about the places that one can show forth, for example I took the initiative to look into Georgia and what it has outside of Buckhead... this is what I learned today and something I really want to see.

^^ No one talked about that yet... how would I know if you guys had such a cool looking thing there... because everyone else here is so busy putting down each others place to bring up cool stuff about their own. That's immaturity at it's finest.

By the way lol, what is that thing in those pictures called? ^^
Stone Mountain is in metro Atlanta. It's in Dekalb County.

Atlantic City gives New Jersey an edge in the gambling category, I just realized that. Only state that can compare is Nevada. However Biloxi is popping too from what I've seen (but on a smaller scale), guess it can count as one of GA's nearby locations.
Biloxi isn't nearby. It's a good six hour drive.

I am a native of Manhattan with 8 million people, so don't tell me a about Atlanta. Mountains? I had the Adirondacks. We even owned land in the Poconos at one time. Again, no comparison to Georgia. We just took side roads through Georgia because 95 had an accident; not that 95 is exactly the scenic route either.

The Adirondacks aren't superior to the Blue Ridge of the southern Appalachians. Are you kidding me? The Pocanos?

Who would want to live cramped up in Manhattan? I wouldn't.

Who would want to live in Manhattan? Well, judging by the millions (average price) people pay to purchase homes in Manhattan, I would think many.

And yes, the Adriondacks are better than Blue Ridge.

We stopped in Macon. After looking out the bus, I was afraid to get off the bus to eat dinner. There was an older couple on the bus and I asked if I could be their "daughter" for dinner. It was one of worst places I have ever been.

Ask anybody around the country. Where would you rather visit Manhattan or Atlanta?

Did they hold the Winter Olympic Games in the Blue Mountains? They held them TWICE in Lake Placid.

That's fine. You like different things but 1.5 million people in I believe 30 square miles. That's a lot of people who not only "want" to live in Manhattan but already do. Then theres plenty in the world who would as well.

And a bit of confession, Manhattan is the only place in BosWash that interests me as far as living goes.
