I see a lot of similarities between these two cities. Top 3% public schools, a large asian and white population, $100k+ median income, clean & excellent Quality of Life. The biggest difference is that Johns Creek homes are 1/3 the price of Irvine homes.

I received this unanimous message from someone from city data and don't know to reply to this person via "reputations"

So i will respond here:

Dear Chinese-American family,
I don't know where you live in Atlanta, but I think you will like Johns Creek a lot. There are so many subtle similarities I see with both cities. Irvine has four high schools: Woodbridge, Irvine High, University High, and Northwood all ranked in the top 3% in the state. JC similarly has 3 high schools: Northview, JC High, and Chattahoochee all ranked in the top 3% in the state. Irvine's Asian population is 41% whereas JC's Asian population is 41%. The profile to today of JC looks very simlar to what Irvine looked like in 1993. One slight difference is that in JC: Koreans and Indians are the dominate Asian ethnic group whereas in Irvine Chinese and Koreans are the dominate Asian ethnic group. Honestly if a prices were equal, I consider Irvine to be a superior place to live over JC in terms of lifestyle, ocean and the weather, but Irvine homes prices are literally double that of JC. If you are already rich and have a lot of money, Irvine would be a great place to live, but if you are in your 30s trying to build wealth and have a entrepenerial mind set, JC is a great place to live. All depends on what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

Oh one more thing I absolutely hate about JC is that the airport is literally 1 hour away. If you live in Irvine you can get to John Wayne Airport in literally in 15 min.

Panda, I've been following your posts. You chose Atlanta over Irvine. Would you reconsider Irvine? We're a Chinese-American family. Very unhappy in Atlanta and would like to move to Irvine. The black population here is too much. Look forward to your reply.
