Great job, man! I knew most of it but not all. It's a great city!

BosWash is a much shorter distance than from the tip of CA to the other tip of CA. The only way "to be fair" there is to include BosWash otherwise those California vs NYS comparisons are just as stupid as these NY vs LA comparisons are because you can simply assume who will come out on top by a big margin.

LOL.

The 400 Richest Americans 2009 - Forbes.com

As of the most recent list, California has 82 billionaires.

As of the most recent list, NY/CT/NJ has has 82 billionaires. If you drop off the one billionaire who lives in upstate New York, New York City has 81 billionaires.

NY State - 66

NYC - 65
SW CT - 10
Northern NJ -6

65 + 10 + 6 = 81

Apparently, you did miss something.

So that leads me back to my point...
.that the NYC metro has nearly the exact same amount of billionaires as a state with 20+ million population advantage.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

It seems like your beef is with the OP. If you don't like the thread...the rest of us are having fun. I could live and work in either. Is it OK with you if I state that?

What I didn't miss is you SWITCHING the previous link you had up. The first one is from 2006 and this one is from 2009. If you are going to reference the 2009 list then link the 2009 list and not the 2006, make sense no? Nice try buddy but you still can't count, either that or don't know what you are even referencing. Pseudo-intellectuals are so amusing.

I must have posted the wrong link.

But clearly I can count, as I counted it right the first time (82 vs 81). Did you think I pulled those numbers out of my arse?

Please get over it, buddy. Or should I say "dude" or "bro"? Chill out dude!

I do not know anything about the religious based studies he listed but I would not be have never heard anything or seen any study indicating that LA is any more diverse ethnically than NY and Toronto. I have read the same thing about NYC that it is the only city with every nationality represented in it. LA is not the second largest English speaking city in the world though. I think when he said that he lost all of his credibility. It is also not the second largest Spanish speaking city in the world.

Yes I did actually because the link you posted didn't match your numbers. Instead of admitting you're link was wrong at first you had to lie and try to save face by posting a different link.

Say whatever you want, it's amusing watching psuedo-intellectuals and their diatribes.

LA does have even have the most Jews in the U.S., that would be New York. It has the THIRD largest concentration of practicing Muslims in the nation. NY has more and that is something I hate about NY. Seriously, with so many completely wrong things that Cali Water listed why should we buy any of it? Of course we do not see anybody from CA disputing it because it makes CA look more diverse. If I gave out completely wrong facts about NY they would nail me.
