eta - there are many towns in NJ that have the same name - e.g. - there are about 7 washington townships. silly.
The Springfield of the Simpsons is Springfield, Oregon.

There is a Denver, Tennessee whose only claim to fame was being noted in an old 'Untouchables' tv show where Elliot Ness went to nab some gangster hiding out there.

I think that's just a park. There is a neighborhood in Denver called Highlands, was once an independent city.

Highland Park in Louisville was a beautiful streetcar suburb destroyed for an airport expansion which never occurred!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highland_Park,_Louisville

Built as a railroad boom town on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, it once had its own thriving main street.

Highland Park Pictures

Unfortunately many of the photos show urban decay from the 1970s. Note that this was a very dense neighborhood almost 7 miles from downtown at a time Louisville was a legitimate top 20 city. Except for old timers and urban nerds like me, almost no one in Louisville has heard of this area and literally it doesn't exist anymore.
