Seriously though, I don't think it's all that great anywhere. Maybe LA, NYC, and Miami still hold it down to an extent. Too many clubs are just about the VIP and cheesy top 40 and hip-hop mixes.
In Chicago it's not like it used to be, which is sad since it was pretty much invented here. There is enough to keep that scene going though, if you follow it.

I do follow it. Chicago is very damn good for a USA city, Los Angeles is pretty baller in it, and many of you will find it surprising but Dallas is pretty damn good too. New York City, I don't expect anything less than decent.

the house scene died down a long time ago . Im curious to see what cities still hold it down.
BTW They still play house on b96 and wgci in chicago at night.
There's still some House Spots in Chicago. I used to go to the Boom Boom Room up until a few months ago. They always had great DJ's (Felix Da Housecat, Ron Carroll, DJ Lego, etc etc).
Many people are getting House confused with Techno or Techno-House.Dallas is a Techno and Techno-House hot spot, but House music genres like Lounge,Deep,Jungle,Tribal,Gospel, they are all lacking in Dallas.Europe as someone mentioned earlier is also not a hotbed of House music. The exceptions are London,Sweden and a few other spots, but for the most part its Techno.
