Well they're CALLED mountains and they're no smaller than many of the "mountains" that pass as such around Los Angeles.
Mount Lee (where the Hollywood sign is) = 1,708 ft
Kennesaw Mountain = 1,808 feet
Besides, compared to what's in Minnesotta, Georgia's mountains are mountains!

reportedly, you can see the atlanta skyline from brasstown bald

This is very doubtful since you can BARELY see the skyline from Stone Mountain on a good day due to the haze and smog.
By the way ... the majority of Lookout Mountain is in Georgia and NOT Tennessee as most people think. And you can't see seven states from the top of it either despite what the See Rock City ads claim:
ROCK CITY / LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA:

It's interesting how MN is much more than the Twin Cities and Georgia is much more than ATL.
And... Many people forget about MN's shoreline, and many people forget about Georgia's coastline.

GA's Coast:

MN has mountains in the NE part of the state, and river bluffs that look like mountains in the SE part of the state and around Mankato. We also have beautiful, pristine shoreline along Lake Superior and thousands of lakes. Georgia doesn't have any natural lakes, as far as I know.

Kennesaw Mountian looks bigger than what you'll find in Texas Hill Country and much more lush; I don't get the comparison.

Ummm.....I don't think Georgia does, but than again I've never really noticed a difference between a natural lake and man-made one.
