This is BS, where do they come up with these numbers from? DC & Baltimore are bad, but no way it can be worse than NY or LA

I can easily believed this, having lived in NoVA and driven through DC extensively. Combining the angry and aggressive personalities that are found in DC with overclogged and poorly designed roadways is a recipe for disaster.

Evidentally the NBC staff hasn't been through Detroit at 5:30 PM. I-75 is a parking lot.

Well number one, traffic in DC is WAY worse than Detroit. Second of all, it isn't about who has the worst traffic, it is about the worst (most aggressive) drivers.

Yes, I-75 is bad...especially at rush hour. However, having lived in both areas...nothing in Michigan compares to the horrible DC rush hour traffic.

Also, the "rush hour" is much, much longer in DC. It's usually around 4:30-6:15 in Detroit and 2:30-8:30 in DC from what I've seen...

It took me over two hours to drive to Baltimore yesterday. That makes sense during rush hour but it was 1:30pm when I left.
