Cleveland needs to hope they can regain ANY sense of dignity before they can even think about city 'pride'. When I first saw that video, I truly felt embarrassed for that city--it was hard for me to watch. I literally cringed when I heard a Cleveland city councilman sing "just tell us king, what changes we must make...we will name every street 'Lebron' if that's what it takes".
Despite what you may think no ones life in Cleveland changed after Lebron left, you would think it happened years ago...until Miami goes to the Q,that is.

LOL. o, really? maybe they got it all out of their system after the riot they had when he chose Miami. I remember watching that on ESPN and it wasn't until then (and when i saw that music video) that I realized how important he was to that city.
However, It's really not as pathetic as it seems. As this thread acknowledges, Cleveland is dying city (it's too late for me to think of a way to put this euphemistically, so I'm sorry if that came across harsh), yet it was home to the single biggest superstar on the entire PLANET (in my opinion). For MANY reasons, this made Lebron invaluable to Cleveland--as he would be to any city in this poll.

Billions and Billions in development going on right now.
This is great news to see Cleveland undergoing renewal. Really nice looking projects. If done properly, the place has so much potential. It can, and, IMO, will come back. Pittsburgh was able to and is IMPRESSIVE.
as for St. Louis...I didn't really think to put it on the poll as I don't usually think of it as a rust belt city.

try telling this to the owners of sports bars and the countless other people who's income will be DIRECTLY affected by his leaving.

This is not the majority of the population, sure a few peoples income will be affected and fewer if anys over livelihood may have been affected but if anything like mentioned before Lebron leaving let the people regain pride in everything else in there city instead of instilling it all in 1 person.
