I am about to finish school at Alabama this semester and I am wondering which place is more fun with an urban environment ? Thanks for your input!

Depends on what you like as a person and what field you would like to work in.

In the narrowest sense of your post, Atlanta is about a millionty times more "urban" than Nashville, but Nashville isn't a bad place at all and pretty fun. Really it boils down to if you want. If it's a big city experience with big city amenities go with Atlanta. If you want a mid-size city with a good number of amenities go with Nashville.

here ... we ... go ... again ... SIGH!

But to answer the OP's question honestly: Atlanta is a much larger, more cosmopolitan and "urban" (yes, I said it!) environment than Nashville, but Nashville isn't a bad place either. It just really depends on what size city you want, and coming right out of college in Alabama, Nashville is probably going to be the easiest transition and your best bet.

If you want a more artsy city then Nashville. If you're all about business then go with Atlanta. I've lived in both cities for many years and both are great. I've been to few areas in this country that had as good a sense of identity as Nashville does. Atlanta has many amenities that Nashville wish it had though. Ahhh just flip a coin.
