So what is more relevant, personal income, wealth, gmp, or gdp for a metro - seems as though the first three more reflect the income/dollars generated/available by/to the region versus the corporate headquarters, but am curious on any thoughts or perspectives
I would say personal income is a one of the more relevant measurements. If the cost of living is higher then the GMP is higher, so it's hard to get a fair comparison of wealth in cities. probably just per capita stats.
Don't you think we should be going by per capita income?
44. Omaha 42,412
Number 44 out of 364 metropolitan areas is very good, especially considering the cost of living is at/near the lowest in the nation.
