I'm just curious to find out if there is anywhere in the U.S outside of Boston's north end that has extremely tight and narrow residential streets like Philadelphia.

Boston has tons of really awkward and tight streets, some I couldn't go through with my deville and had to go all the way around a couple blocks to get to where I needed to go.

NW DC is damn near narrow, at least its residential streets. I know Boston is odd and weird but then again it was built wayyy before the car was made.

Here's one photo from Philly:

And here are some residential streets even even narrower than your links:

I was on a road in Boston that the road looked just like that with the cobblestone and concrete wheel tracks, but there were no doors or pillars just brick walls and curbs on what would be the inside of those pillars with a turn that was almost 90 degrees. it was terrible.

San Francisco, particularly in the northeastern part of the city. No as old worldly in feel as Philly, but still quite narrow, especially for a West Coast city.

North Beach - Jasper

North Beach - Sonoma Street

Auburn Street

Yes, they are somewhat narrow, but they look like alleys. The streets in the Philly links are residential, with front doors and mailing addresses. Does SF have any like that?

Those aren't alleys, even though they may look like them. Those are the front street entrances to those residences.
