Money aside: San Francisco or a smaller community along the northern coast.

Tough question.

If I can include independent cities surrounding LA, I would stay put in Santa Monica.

If not, probably Oceanside.

I was just thinking that, it would nice if C-D added better editing options.

I would have to go with San Diego. I'm always in a good mood when I visit there. It's such a nice laid back city. San Diego has everything one could want out of a major city, but without the headaches of mega cities like LA. The climate is perfect, the beaches are very attractive, the parks are beautiful, downtown is decent, the skyline is pretty, and the landscaping is nice and very green. San Diego doesn't really knock my socks off, but I'm always very pleased every time I visit. My dream home would be right in La Jolla, I love that part of town, it's beautiful!
