No one in DC save for a few old timers, believes DC is Southern. There is nothing Southern about it whatsoever. No one on this board has even pointed to anything that is remotely southern other than a few incredibly distant connections and Old Ebbit Grill.

This proves D.C. is a Southern City by definition. All other accusation are not objective and based on feeling and stereotypes.

Doesn't matter how you or they feel. It is not up for debate. It is below the mason dixie, so it is Southern. Get over it.

Your right no one in DC is going to say there Southern because most of them are from Somewhere else.. But the location of where DC sits says South all day long.
