I tried to avoid including anyone that I felt would be obliterated by the rest, but I'm shocked by the results nevertheless. I've always heard that DC and ATL's nightlife were pretty comparable.
I'm surprised non of those cities are listed either and plus Chicago (don't know much about Dallas)

its a black city too, along with its neighbor to the east.

If this poll was multiple choice I would've packed DC and ATL because young AA people from ATL tend to like DC's scene, its attracting. Vice versa as well a lot of young AA folks love them some ATL. When I say young, 30 and under is what I mean.

D.C. has four very large party scenes (Three-Four Level Clubs, Lounges, Bars, GoGo Venues) that none of the cities on the list can compete with when considering the sheer number. Maybe if D.C. didn't have the GoGo scene they could compete but it's not even close with everything combined. The real kicker here is the fact that the GoGo scene in D.C. is larger than the club/lounge scene. It's really not even close.

D.C. wins hands down!

why is DC being compared to philly in nightlife. That's not even fair. As much as I love dc, it is not topping philly in anything but a president speaking at night rofl. Dc does have great nightlife but philly is on another level. Why is memphis on this list rofl.. You guys crack me up. God bless america

Who cares about go-gos anyway? There lame as hell.
At least philly is known for a variety of nightlife when dc is only known for just 1..
