the three longest run parallel to waterways, and there are also long ones that run through 3rd ward and the heights.

next time come see things here first before you make stupid comments about it.

San Antonio does not even come close. Houston has more than 300 more than SA

the website says the 345 miles of pure bike path does not include the 80 miles found in parks. the columbia tap trail for example is not associated with any park. it is about 8 ft wide and runs on its own, just like a road, but cars can't drive on it
According to the link, yes it does! You make yourself sound silly. It states 80 miles of hke and bike trails and thats what we are talking about, not bike lanes and bike routes and a majority are on city streets.

The network includes bike lanes, bike routes, shared lanes and bayou trails, rails to trails, and other urban multi-use paths. This network does not include 80 miles of hike and bike and nature trails found in City of Houston parks. Cyclists travel on designated bikeways and merge onto bicycle-friendly streets to complete their journey.

San Antonio has nothing to compare.

I found less than 15 miles of hike and bike trails in SA.

but yeah, add the trails you all will be getting in the next 50 years and it still falls short

Lol ok less than 15 miles when just the the creek greenways equal more than 52 miles and thats just the creek greenways not including all the parks and historic districts and S.A. river expansion projects. Why cant you except that San Antonio has what Houston has?

Your list of trails are not paved for biking or walking. They are mostly wilderness hiking trails some over an hour away from Houston. I didn't list hiking locals far from the city.

Here is a list of San Antonio city proper paved trails and Bike paths. They total over 125 miles of asphalt trails for biking and jogging. These are not city on street bike lanes or unpaved nature hiking trails out in the middle of nowhere.
