We have lived in Newport Beach and Newport Coast for many years and are looking to move to North San Diego County. We have three boys, six, five and three years old. School system, family oriented neighbors, proximity to convenient shopping (I'm talking groceries, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Ross, Fresh Produce, not Saks & Nordstrom) with lots of choices for restaurants in the area are the most important features of the community in which we would like to live. Newport was not family oriented. Looking to spend between $800,000 and $1,000,000. I work from home so commute is not an issue. I've read some threads, but they often seem to focus on the commute/traffic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
