What city or state is the least strict when it comes to smoking? Does your city allow smoking indoors?? I was reading the Atlanta News, Sports, Atlanta Weather, Business News*| ajc.com website and saw that Atlanta airport along with Dallas, DC, Charlotte, Denver and Salt Lake City (and a couple others) all allow smoking in designated areas of the airport.

In Charlotte no smoking in bars clubs etc.... and schools. Cigarettes (newports) run about $5.50

In Atlanta you can smoke indoors as long as the venue serves patrons 18 and up cigarettes run about $4.00

How is your city in regards to smoking?

I don't smoke, but I imagine LA/Southern Cal. is pretty awful for smokers. Its illegal pretty much everywhere.

The "best" city for smokers seems to be Vegas.

Las Vegas. The entire place reeks of Cigarette Smoke.

I noticed that smoking is pretty popular in areas with large redneck and bubba cultures ( you know where they are).

TN has a state-wide smoking ban. No smoking in restaurants or bars (unless they're 21 and up)

I was surprised when I went to places like St. Louis, where people were smoking in restaurants. I can't even remember the last time I've seen smoking in restaurants in TN.

Aside from Charlotte, I've noticed most North Carolina cities/towns aren't so big on banning smoking in restaurants and such. I was actually kind of surprised on my last trip there as it is pretty rare to find a place that still allows that in businesses that aren't bars.

Come on now bud, that's Tobacco Road right there!

In Massachusetts, smoking is banned just about everywhere...I don't smoke, but I think it's usually between $6-$9 a pack.

Probably a city with a good lung cancer treatment center. Maybe check out Boston or Houston.
