High tech by itself doesn't account for VA's GDP growth. The federal government played a pretty significant role in that.

Virginia will forever lead the south like it or not. I think the commonwealth is the only southern state that have a very good economy, education, and etc.

Apparently you don't know much about your own state or other Southern states.

Despite the wishes and demeanor of the general population there, it most certainly is in the South.

Tell it to the Census Bureau.

I think the other states mentioned in the thread against VA could give it a run for its money. However, VA does get props for having less people than the other two but having a higher GDP. NC has a school(Duke) that was once going to be apart of the Southern Ivy League athletic association, called the Magnolia league. All three have schools that are considered public ivies.

Apparently I do know about my own state. Now if I would vote and said Georgia, I bet you wouldn't even mention that statement. Now since you're being a know it all, how about you tell everyone on here about every southern state. What you know about Mississippi? Arkansas? Kentucky? Florida? South Carolina? Tennessee? Oklahoma? Alabama? Virginia? Texas? Georgia? North Carolina? Louisiana?

If you can't do that then it would be nice for you to
