apparently the well documented tanking of the Stars as they nestle into the bottom of the league in attendance and await their bankruptcy status is a positive thing? certainly is from our perspective in any case
Hey man, I didn't make the list. Dallas is top 5 for sports and the facts point to that. It's barely even debatable.
That said the Stars have suffered from bad ownership. That will be fixed soon.
Dallas is just a spread out suburb. Minneapolis offers a real urban experience that Dallas lacks. Minneapolis has density and we all know Dallas does not. Dallas has a suburban feel and cant compete with Minneapolis when it come to a real city feel.

Ok, what's your point? That doesn't stop people from moving here. The population of Minneapolis has declined over the years but Dallas is still growing.

Dallas is a city that ranks 9th in population, and Minneapolis ranks 48th. How can you compare cities with such a vast difference in population?

That'll happen with as much land as Dallas has. But the Dallas METRO has grown substantially more than the Twin Cities -- which would be a better point. Will it sustain itself? Maybe. Let's see how the newcommers adjust to Dallas first.
