Dallas doesn't have much on Minneapolis when it comes to height and
the Wells Fargo tower in MPLS. is more impressive than any tower in Dallas.

Tallest 3 in Dallas
Bank of America Plaza - 921ft.
Renaissance Tower - 886ft.
Comerica Bank Tower - 787 ft.

Tallest 3 in Minneapolis
IDS - 792ft.
Capella Tower - 775ft.
Wells Fargo Center - 774ft.

In my opinion Fountain Place looks better than Wells Fargo Center.

That's too bad because I'm pretty sure most of us can find something impressive/positive about Dallas. For starters, your freeway infrastructure is enviable.

I am talking about the skyline, not the city.

Ive been to Seattle and Philly and both their skylines weren't that much better than MPLS. A little taller, but nothing more impressive. I live in the Twin Cities, 20 miles from Downtown and can see downtown MPLS easily

Dallas Skyline > MPLS' Skyline > St. Paul Skyline > Fort Worth Skyline.

3 are over 700 feet, and they are all about 780 feet. You have 5 over 700 feet, the tallest being 921 feet. What is "tall" to you?

To each their own, opions are opinions. But on Emporis' forums and throughout C-D, it's concluded that the Skyline of MPLS ranks up there as one of the best in the country, especially for a city with only 390,000 people.

In Dallas its the same way. You can see the skyline nearly 30 miles away.
