- Public Transit (Rail) - Philly
- Downtown (amenities) - Philly
- Housing (The variations) -Philly
- Diversity (The People) - Depends on what is considered diversity
- Arts (Art Galleries, Theaters, Symphonies, etc) - Philly
- Scenery - Seattle
- Historical sites - Philly
- Outdoor activities (please list) - Seattle - wider variety easier access
- Economy (Sheer size) - Philly
- Economy (On health) - Edge Seattle?
- Education (K-12) - If City Seattle, If metro Philly
- Education (Higher ed) - Philly
- Parks - na - although I sent a lot of time in Seattle I do not recall a ton of time in parks, Philly has great parks, Seattle has amazing things very close to the city
- Nightlife - Philly

Overall Philly, but choice will be very subjective as these cities both with good cores offer two different lifestyles, also one basically twice the size of the other

A.Overall dealing with reality I Would rather live in Philly in large part due to its more centrally located location.Seattle is a great city and region though.

B.Of the 2 downtowns I would Rather live in Phillys downtown.

C. If all things were equal. I would rather live in the city of Seattle than Philly, Seattle is much healthier overall imo.

Criteria:
- Weather: Seattle (rain, snow, the works)

- Dining (Upscale): Philadelphia

- Restaurants/Food (Variety, what kinds, etc): Toss up, both have astonishing aspects in this regard

- Public Transit (Rail): Philadelphia

- Downtown (amenities): Philadelphia

- Housing (The variations): Seattle, its subjective but I like the housing in Seattle more

- Diversity (The People): Toss up
+ Racially: Seattle
+ Ethnically: Impossible to draw any conclusions, its a toss up, Philadelphia capitalizes on European ethnicities and Seattle on Asian

- Arts (Art Galleries, Theaters, Symphonies, etc): Toss up
+ Art Galleries: Seattle
+ Theater: Philadelphia
+ Symphonies: Philadelphia

- Scenery: Seattle

- Historical sites: Philadelphia

- Outdoor activities (please list): Seattle

- Economy (Sheer size): Philadelphia (40% larger than Seattle)

- Economy (On health): Seattle (Both under national average and healthy though)

- Education (K-12): Seattle

- Education (Higher ed): Philadelphia

- Parks: Toss up, I would imagine parks near some scenic lake or mountains to be beautiful, but Philadelphia has more variety in Urban parks.

- Nightlife: Uhhhh..
+ Bars: Philadelphia
+ Clubs: Don't know, never experienced it and am not a clubber either way

- Anything else I may have forgotten: Ehhh maybe I can come up with something later on that I may have forgotten

Skylines: Toss up
+ Skyline & Scenery: Seattle
+ Sheer Skyline: Philadelphia

No offense to those cities or anything I just don't like their climates both natural & political.

I really like Philadelphia and it's a very underrated city. On paper, Philadelphia wins this. However, Seattle is an awesome city and I would probably pick it over Philadelphia.

Seattle is great, don't get me wrong, but I give Philly the up in every category minus the health of the economy and outdoor activities.

I went back home to Philly for Thanksgiving. Best city in the world!
