Not really, I just found that they were okay with a Black or White guy dating their women but if I did it, or people from my background (Middle Eastern or Indian) then it was a mess.

Parents and family members always told me this, never made sense till, welll, now.
I was always told to go to a place where there are not a high number of people from my background. Never made sense to me but my parents thought that if I went to such a place then I could make a name for people from my background. Their mentality? Whenever a place has a high number of Indians, most do not assimilate and most act out the curry smell and other arranged marriage type stereotypes.
Personally in my time down south I have seen tons of Indians date and marry out, wonder why this isn't the case in other places.

Living down south I have seen so many couples where the guy was Indian and girl was White, is it true such doesn't happen up north?
