I've seen video of snow fights in DC; is that sort of a traditional thing every time it snows?
|
I guess you can say that.... but its kind of one of those things that comes Natural for us.... in some places the first thing that they think when they see snow is "awww man.. now how am I suppose to make it to work today"... but in DC the first thing that we do is pick up a gob of snow and throw it at someone LOL!!!
Quote:
|
That would be fun. Do the cops allow it?
|
Surprisingly yes, just as long as no one hits them with a snowball LOL which has happened on plenty of occasions and sometimes the Police join in on the fun

What if somebody doesn't want to participate?
|
Well that my friend is when you run or simply dont come outside, because they will hail you with Snowballs LOL.... in DC no man is above our snowball fights LOL

Someone else also posted photos of the horses on the beach near DC. That's cool. It made me wonder why one never sees horses on the beach in southern California or at least I have never seen any. What happens when the horse poops on the sand? I'd hate to step in it!
|
LOL I never really thought of it like that before wow... well Im sure a lot of people would be ( ) if they steped in a pile of Horse crap LOL

That snowball fight look like fun. Baltimore got hit with 60 inches of snow that week. It is a story behind how the horses got there, they came from europe many years ago.

I hate about 90% of the City Of Los Angeles but the 10% of it I love I would take over DC without any hesitation. LA can truly be a suck ass place to live, but if you are in the right locations there is no compromise.

Which would you rather live in? DC
DC is true urban city, not big suburban city like L.A. DC is world class, L.A's closest peer is Camden, NJ or Flint, MI because they have many problems but are smaller cities than L.A and L.A is a city known to have unlivable conditions. Compare L.A to Flint first before comparing to DC and other superior cities

Also the Philadelphia Eagles vs Minnesota Vikings game was canceled due to the snow storm, so, naturally, it was discussed in LA since these events were national news. But to suggest that Californians distort the climate of DC into something it isn't is just plain silly and more a projection from you than actuality. People here don't talk about the East Coast very much

Ah california sur, why dont you take a visit outside of california for the first time in your life and see these other places that you obviously have so much envy for
You have never been to NY, you have never left CA and it is obvious in your posts

DC.
I prefer the infrastructure, architecture/layout, and location of DC. It's also a much more affluent city.
LA mops the floor when it comes to shopping, city skyline, and natural scenery though.
