I don't know why some of you guys keep trying to lump all rap together. There are many different types of rappers that cover many different topics, with many different vibes and different types of crowds they attract.

There isnt just one "typical hip hop show"

The atmosphere at a Waka Flocka concert (video #1) isnt going to be anything like the atmosphere where a rapper like Common performs (video #2)

It's not me saying all hip hop music is bad, but hip hop concerts do attract a bad crowd. I know they don't all turn out bad, but lots of them do.

I can imagine how rough it can get at some metal or hardcore punk shows, but I have to guess they dont erupt into murder scenes outside at the rate of down south "crunk" clubs, all stemming from a song played on the inside of the club. .....shame
Ain't no thug fighting because of a song. I've seen that crap and they will fight and shoot in-spite of the rappers lyrics.

Most rappers are shot and killed in Atlanta than any other city.

Thugs fighting in the club unrelated to the music =/= violent music scene.

I am sure Boston's or NYC's hardcore scene still win this thread.

Chicago wins this.Chicago emerging hip hop scene is filled with edgy music. The word "Opp" is used allot, which means opposition meaning enemy.Music is reflection of whats going on in the city.

Oslo, Norway. The Norwegian Black Metal scene was insanely violent back in the day.
