Personally, I only prefer to live in cities in which I have family. I spent a few years living abroad and the main reason (well, one of the main reasons) it sucked is that I had no family members near me. With that said, I selected:

I actually like Salt Lake City, I only spent a few days there but I enjoyed the area. Don't think I would want to live there though.

Yeah they all have a similar vibe for the things I like in a city, all very different and different regions, but all have a similar outlook you can find and attract the same types of people from their respective regions.
