Baltimore Harbor is the inspiration for our National Anthem. Sorry DC, even for all of your grand *plans*, you will not fill the same space in my heart as Baltimore Harbor.

Hard to compare a Harbor to a waterfront/riverfront IMO. But if PG county ever legalizes gambling and opens up some casinos at the National Harbor its a done deal.

Lol i like how u said that, most of baltimore's waterfront is developed, fells point, canton, harbor east, federal hill, the inner harbor.. we already have water taxis... multimillion dollar condos on the water.... DC need more than a couple of restaurants on the water to catch up to baltimore.

D.C.'s waterfront is adding way more than a few restaurants. I guess we will just have to wait and see what the finished products look like.

How can you claim Anne Arundel County is "all Baltimore" when Annapolis is equidistant from both Baltimore and DC?

Not sure if it's a good thing or not because I am not very fond of casinos but there is one in the works for Baltimore's waterfront near the stadiums.
Baltimore's waterfront is more than just the Inner Harbor. It stretches from Ft. McHenry all the way over to Canton and beyond. It includes the fort, home of the "Star-Spangled Banner", many established 100-2oo year old neighborhoods, parks, a still-working industrial harbor, the downtown core, and newer developments, along with a boardwalk that connects all of these fascinating aspects. It would be difficult for DC to out-do that for awhile. Could happen though.

Sidenote: The National Harbor in Prince Georges County is a joke. Maybe one day but now, don't waste your time. Also, I love Alexandria but their waterfront is not the highlight of that city at all.
