it's Robie House, probably not known outside of people who are big architecture fans.

dementor, go back and actually read the context of my post before you respond so negatively.

LA, mainly because of the Hollywood sign and to a lesser extent, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, etc. LA is extremely hyped and marketed to the nation and the world - WAY out of proportion to the actual qualities of the city. It's very fortunate to have been such an influential media city.

Chicago landmarks are much more interesting IMO.

Obviously, the answer is Los Angeles.

But which Los Angeles has more landmarks, the metro, or the city? (just another dig at this weird poll)

LA has more famous landmarks thanks to Hollywood.

I was kidding, naturally the metro would include the city, as well. Anyway... back to the "my city is cooler than your city"

Los Angeles, especially if we're talking about the metro and not just the city. Also, LA areas are more well known going by name recognition (Malibu, Orange County, Santa Monica, Venice, Hollywood, East LA, Compton, Inglewood, Beverly Hills).

This isn't to say LA is better, just that it's more well known.

It's hard too when you consider just how many TV shows / Movies have been filmed using LA as the backdrop. Especially in the last few years with the dominance of reality TV, a lot of which is filmed in LA...since they always separate / open / close segments with 5-10 seconds of city-scape type shots.
