The crowd on NYE in New Orleans is pretty big, or it used to be when Sugar Bowl was on the 1st...

I have been to Miami on NYE but I was in a club at the time, was pretty ridiculous shenannigans though so I'm not sure if there was a "celebration" going on.

MissRoxy whatever. I'm lying? Are you really trying to say people in Times Square on NYE aren't overly drunk? That people do not publicly urinate/puke due to a lack of available facilities? Have you been there? Or have you just read the propaganda that city hall spews out. I will admit I was last in NYC for New Years about 5 years ago so maybe there's been dramatic improvement but I doubt it.

I didn't see anybody urinating in public... Drunk out of their gord and puking? Oh yeah... But that is no different than anywhere else. I've seen a guy get arrested for urinating in public in New Orleans by a cop on a horse, for what its worth. If you really want to see puking, pissing, drunk, fights, and copious amounts of nudity, go to Mardi Gras.

I'm saying you're being over dramatic and over exaggerating.

How is the Peach Drop beating Las Vegas? Who would chose to go to Atlanta for New Year's Eve over Las Vegas?

Me, and I did. LV does not appeal to me in the least bit, but NYE in Atlanta was about as boring as I never expected. Fireworks? Where were they? LoL

IMO you have to be on the East Coast/Eastern Time Zone for NYE, because, well, do I have to explain? It's like life moves on after New Year's happens in the ETZ.
