And for Chicago just go to http://homicides.redeyechicago.com/

They have maps of where each homicide took place every month.

From years 2008 to present

It's too cold for killin' in much of the country right now. These numbers will look a whole lot different come August. The criminals here like to save all their killin' for summer when you can comfortably shoot somebody without the gun freezing to your bare hand.

Close, but the jersey is all wrong. Drive-bys in Edina generally consist of a douche in aviator glasses and a v-neck tee throwing a Ferragamo loafer out of the passenger window of a Jaguar.

Minneapolis is five blocks over, though, which of course is what I was talking about.

Philadelphia Police Dept counts 60 so far. That's not counting the eight abortion/homicides. That puts us slightly below the 2007 rate. Still far too high, but parts of Philadelphia have a deep seated poverty problem that has created the perfect environment for crime. Until those problems are addressed, and we start to see some real effort to turning those areas of the city around, then those murder rates will remain too high.
