C'mon...wouldn't a better "battle" be between Bos-Wash and maybe Chi-Pitts...? I mean the "Triple-C megalopolis" is awfully small by comparison (and I didn't even know that such a thing existed).

NO, it's not real I don't know why people are just making things up! Their’s NO such thing as the triple A, triple C, or Atlantannoga megalopolis
The only megalopolis concept that's to grow is the Piedmont corridor some times call Charlanta/Piedmont Atlantic
Only Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, Greenville, Atlanta, Birmingham in line/corridor not a triangle.
I agree with your opinion on Charleston. Lovely place to spend a weekend, but an anchor of a "megalopolis?" Eh.. I don't see it.
