Also, you've got to love all of the open-minded progressives in this thread saying they could never live somewhere where less than 60% of the population shares their sociopolitical views, or in that inhospitable wasteland known as "Middle America" (the horror!).

Ugliest people in America? Not even close. Seattle actually is one of the fittest places in the country and you see way less obese people in Seattle than most other US cities, especially the midwest and south. I guess it's not the usual Ken/Barbie types (although there are a few neighborhoods where you do find that), but definitely very far from ugliest city.

Chilly year-round? Not true either. June-August in Seattle is awesome. Average high of 75-80. Sure, it averages at around 58 for the 5 am low, but its typically in the pleasant mid-upper 60's at midnight or by 10 am. The summers in Seattle are really amazing weather-wise.
Could you explain why you think thin represent beauty and fat mean ugly? That has to be one of the shallowest statements I have ever heard. I have seen soem really ugly thin people, really ugly fat people and really beautiful people with too much weight, as well as many very attractive thin people. Grow up for heavens sake..

  1. Seattle-just because of the weather. very beautiful, very green but couldn't live there.
  2. Buffalo, NY- I did live there and nothing would make me go back
  3. Phoenix- just too hot. Like Seattle I think it is a nice place I just couldn't live there
  4. Anywhere colder than where I am now. I'm in Denver and think it has just the right amount of cold.
  5. Anywhere overly religious, right wing.

Funny, isn't it? Of course, I'm happy to let them continue their beliefs. The less pretentious a-holes in this inhospitable wasteland the better, IMO.

I could give any place a chance if I had a good enough reason. There are some places I don't think I would be happy, but I certainly don't look down on those places.

I'm assuming you live in the South or Middle America (not Chicago though)

It makes no difference where you live, a persons weight (within reason) has nothing to do with the persons beauty. Have you even seen a truely skinny, and ugle person? Most of us have and how about a heavy but attractive person? Look at the gal who play Molly on Mike and Molly, she has an adorable face..

You obviously very narrow minded and very uninformed about what makes a person attractive.

You kinda shot yourself in the foot here with the whole, within reason comment.

I've never heard of Mike and Molly but neither of them are attractive based on a quick image search and both are obese, unhealthy people.

Don't get me wrong though a lot of men and women are underweight, unhealthy people.

I've said that so many times on here but people are just shallow. Obesity is unhealthy, but not ugly.

heavy/obese is unhealthy so I don't find it attractive. rail thin isn't attractive either.
