IT. Analyse yourself if you are only attracting or hang around thugs as your only company.

Nahh I woudn't say that we dress conservatively... DC Buppies are just a little more "Dressier" as young Black Urban professionals because here looks are "EVERYTHING"....

A buppie
A highly sophisticated and upper class black person. Usually a Black city or suburban resident with a well-paid professional job and an affluent lifestyle. Black Urban Professional. Black professionals and executives in their late twenties and early thirties.

I would put Chicago over ATL. I would even say more than DC and NYC. First of all, Chicago is more urban and is filled with plenty buppies, college grads and young entrepreneurs and not just on the Southside either. Although, there are plenty of Southside neighborhoods that are becoming buppy-central such as Bronzeville, South loop, North Kenwood/Hyde Park and Woodlawn. On the West side, it looks like East Garfield Park and Rogers Park on the Northside (for Africans).
Also, believe it or not, 200k will take you a looooong way in Chicago. Not like it would in the ATL, but the cost of living is much cheaper in Chicago than both NYC and DC. I've been to the ATL, most of the rich black folks making over 200k don't live in the more trendy parts of the ATL such as Midtown and Buckhead. They stay in more suburban-style culdesac and gated communities.

After having read what a Buppie was, I would not vote for Atlanta. Atlanta may be the Black mecca and the blackest metro area in the country, but it doesn't have the highest percentage of white collar blacks. No city in the South does. I would say probably New York or Chicago or even some western cities like the Bay Area. Hyde Park in Chicago is very Buppie. Isn't that where Obama lived? Also, there are tons of Buppies that live and work in Lower Manhattan or in Midtown. These are the Ivy League blacks...they don't even go to the good HBCs, they go straight to the elite schools in this country. A black graduate from a good Northeast university has a much higher chance of getting a high paying New York job than a white male who graduated from a good school in the South (because it's about the schools and Northeast companies prefer grads from the Northeast).
Also, public school systems play a role here. Many inner city public school systems in the South are so so inadequate, that hardly any blacks from inner cities in the South even go to college, let alone a good one. The school systems up north are so much better that you can grow up in Bedford-Stuyvesant or in the Bronx and still wind up going to NYU or SUNY or UMASS etc. 99% of Buppies from Atlanta are Buckhead blacks and suburban North Fulton blacks or Cascade Road blacks who come from privileged black families.
