Tallest in North America or South America?

While Aconcagua is higher, I'll give the nod to McKinley because it rises higher from it's base and looks more massive when viewed from sea level (it's fairly close to the coast).

I would've thought Aconcagua was closer to the coast than McKinley...

could be wrong. I'll have to go check that out
