I think San Diego-LA-San Francisco are all overpriced. LA and SD are a little overrated in some ways but the biggest thing is they are overpriced. Yeah the beach and mountains and laid back beach lifestyle is nice, but the traffic, illegal immigration problems, etc. are not worth the rediculous cost of living in California. If it were similar or maybe a bit more expensive than most other places then it might be worth it, but you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere IMO.

What does overpriced mean? If there is market demand and people are willing to pay, then it does not meet the definitin of overpriced. Overpriced is when the price exceeds what the market is willing to pay.
And for most people who choose to live in Cali, life is about more than owning a bigger house and more acreage for less money out in the middle of nowhere or in a colder climate or whatever the tradeoff might be.

NYC. What you can get in NYC you can find in many other places for less. It's all in the name, like designer clothes.

A small town that is not meant to be a large city. Try San Antonio instead since it has varying terrain--not just hills. The only way to deflate Austin's popularity is to move the state capital back to Houston.

Charles Town, West Virginia... their races and slots are not as thrilling as I expected something in West Virginia to be! LOL

Any large city or collage town in Southern or central coastal California.
-I love the Sacramento valley north of Sacramento though, especialy Chico and Marysville. (Not the San Joaquin valley though-!!!)
