Cultureless?: The Civil War, MLK, Coca-Cola(represents America). Atlanta is CultureFUL!! You're tripping man.

Why are you looking at 2009? Look at YTD, that is for 2010. Miami had 79 and Atlanta had 113. Do you know how to read charts? Miami's crime rate is 18/100 and Atlanta is 21/100. So how does Atlanta have less crime than Miami?

Again, from a culture standpoint atlanta is cultureless. You realize cities in Europe and South America mock Atlanta, right?

Atlantans embrace restaurants of Waffle House, Chick Fila and there is a biscuit bakery on EVERY corner. I dont know about anyone else, but I dont like hick culture.

Oh, and Atlanta is the city that had pick up trucks drive through the stadium at the olympics and their cheerleaders spelled out "how YALL doin".

So, I take back my statement. Atlanta has culture, hick culture.

Here you go (a little more) :

wikapedia

Atlanta was ranked the
9th best city for the Arts.

AmericanStyle Magazine | Top 25 Big Cities

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is responsible for the sixth district, which covers the states of Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, 74 counties in the eastern two-thirds of Tennessee, 38 parishes of southern Louisiana, and 43 counties of southern Mississippi

Atlanta is a major center of education.Georgia Tech,Emory University,Georgia State University, Morehouse and Spelman Colleges are some of the top ranked higher education facilities in the U.S.
Atlanta is a major research center.High Tech including Nanotechnology are major industries in Atlanta.
So you get all of your info off wikipedia? Why dont you show me a real source that Atlanta ranks for nanotechnology? Or a real source claiming Miami has low income average due to high poverty. On per capita it seems to me that Miami is much wealthier than Atlanta and total income.

FAIL

Is there no chart with better quality? Oh well. I know one thing, The Miami Heat are better than the Atlanta Hawks. We're winning the division, and we play Orlando tonight. No one in the Southeast division is gonna catch us.

" I don't hate Atlanta." You know nothing about culture if you think Miami is a mecca of culture.
You also know nothing about Atlanta.
Atlanta grew because of logistical reason Atlanta was a fast growing city before the civil war due to it being a major railroad hub.Thats right Miami was not a city yet.

The chart is from the crime stats lab and they released it last month in January. What is the chart not in your favorite color or do you not know how to read it?

Its pretty simply, it has the total murders for 2010 (YTD), it has the crime rate out of 100K people, then it has the totals for some of the years prior to 2010. What is so hard to read about it? Let me guess, its hard to read because Miami is safer than Atlanta, right?
The Heat won in 2006, Miami has a good sports scene, they at least win. The last time any of Atlanta's teams won a championship was in the last millennium in 1999.

Keep on trying to knock Miami

I am telling you man, if you dont believe me then start travelling overseas.

Go to France, Sao Paulo, Germany, Canada, Australia, Tokyo, etc. These cities have culture. Atlanta is cultureless. You get small town, southern culture, which the rest of the world laughs at.
