Oh geez.
Yes, why would you even try to verify any of the above before posting it.
1.For 1863 Vinson Hwy, Atlanta, GA 30301....appears to not exist. That would make sense since there is no Vinson highway in Atlanta. This address though does verify for Milledgeville, GA. 100 miles away.
2. For 331 Elizabeth St Ne, Atlanta, GA 30307 did verify. But, uh, it's not a trailer park.
Here's the link for it Google Maps...but since researching information really isn't your thing....
I might be wrong, but those appear to be rowhouses and loft. Wait, I'm not wrong. They are.
Number 3 and 4 appear to be the same place since the both had the same address: 1505 Chattahoochee Ave Nw, #60, Atlanta, GA 30318
That is indeed a trailer park, but it is on the very outskirts of Atlanta. Literally one mile from the city limits, behind several warehouse and factories. And the municipal dump. It is also the only trailer park in the city of Atlanta borders.
Now, and I expect you to not acknowledge this, but having a trailer park in the city limits of a city is not a bad thing per se. Atlanta has one, LA has them, so does Boston, and even NYC. It's just another way of living.
Miami however, contrary to what you stated otherwise, has far more than one and far more than Atlanta.

The point of me brining it up is not to embarrass Miami, but as exercise in how high population density isn't everything people on C-D. In a lot of cases, high density comes at the price of appropriate housing. I would also like to clear something up for the other poster (a serious one) who got offended by the trailers. That was not my intention and I did misspeak. The major of residential in Miami look like this.
That's where they get most of their density from. Small ranch-esque style houses.
Anyway, back to you "Infamous Past", there is a reason why you need to verify your sources. It keeps you from looking silly.

Miami Metro?

Have you ever even been to Miami? There's no such thing as Miami Metro.
There's Miami Metromover, Miami Metrorail, and Miami Metrobus. There's also Trirail.
None of these are subways which is an underground thing hence the prefix sub-
Miami does have lightrail and heavyrail, but no subway.

Heavyrail is what I was referring to, a lot of people call that subway also even if it doesnt go underground. Miami Metro or Miami Metrorail, same thing I think you understood what I meant. Yes I have been to Miami, 5 times to be accurate

Not petty, just wondering why you guys hold the city on such a high pedestal. I don't like when people try to deceive others or manipulate.

It just is. Who knows why? Why should the AJC (which is joke IMHO by the way) be exactly like another city's paper?

Yes it can.
It shouldn't ... I dunno, I figured they would imitate the best.

AJC also covers the redneck games in their entertainment section.
Every summer since the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta, the one-day Summer Redneck Games has been kicked off by a ceremonial lighting of a grill. Chris Dunn, cdunn@ajc.com
I'll refrain for a bit
Now even you have to laugh at that ^
good post.

I agree the redneck games are hilarious, but I'm glad that it's down in Dublin, GA 143 miles away.

waronxmas, today must have been a bad day at work. I figured you hate winter on account of your screen name, seeing snow must make you grumpy and make you forget what your city really is like. Atlanta is in the deep south just to let you know, it has trailer parks in abundance in its city proper, I cant believe you are denying that. I have taken a ride through Atlanta's "wild side" and seen some of the worst trailer park slums in my life there.

Atlanta feels like a suburban wasteland and is the poster child of sprawl. You dont even have one skyline, you have two.
Atlanta has the a crapy transit system with a low number of stations and is only ridden by the poor.
Atlanta has crappy culture. You people listen to crunk music and say "shawty i wanna drop it like its hot and do the stanky leg"
Your dining scene is filled with waffle houses, chick fil a, moes and everyone buys their food from wal marts.
I am done with my rant, but will think of more later. Now, go eat a biscuit

Are you sure you are done? I was wondering since you have basically the same nonsensical words for the whole thread...

And yet you have trouble finding all of these supposed trailer parks. Go ahead. Find them. Post pictures and google map links. Waiting.

Thanks but its not so much that I got offended, I just don't like people making gross generalizations that aren't true like Miami being predominately Trailers which it isnt.
Your first source doesn't have a single trailer in 360 degree view
The others are trailers.
What's even more amusing is all this talk of trailer and you all act like its a bad thing. I'd love to have an RV and just live in a trailer park. Permanent ones not so much. Trailer parks aside from the weather are typically safe areas. If you want to see Miami's bad areas you have to look to Overtown, Liberty City, Opalocka, and South Miami.
