You know the answer to that. And the strongest opinions are often inversely proportional to comparative experience.

Not sure how people can pick the NE corridor over CATXFL for sports. They are real big on professional sports, but don't have anything that compares to college football and high school football atmosphere in TX and FL. Plus, TX, FL, and CA all have very successful professional sports franchises as well.

Pro sports goes to NE corridor, college/high school goes to CATXFL is the best way to put it. Texas, California and Florida are the three biggest and most rabid high school football states in the entire country. For college football you have The Trojans, The Longhorns, The Aggies, The Bears, The Gators, etc. College basketball I'd say goes to the NE corridor.

P.S. Hook 'em

NE's care about pro football and don't care Much about college, definitely not about high school. I think its pathetic southerners care so much where a 17 year old child goes to commit to play a sport,
Probably why the intelligent levels, schools and academic levels are
So low. Just sayin.....

A snide way of saying the Northeast produces nothing. It just pushes paper around.

Ray, The way everyone knows Californian is not a threat To the northeast is because they speak about vegetables, weather and scenery immediately. SD has a CSA of almost 4 mill and how many fortune 500 companies? Why? Because Cali is anti business and frankly the brunt of all jokes in the corporate world!

Spreading eagle for big business isn't something to be proud of. But you highlight again that the Northeast's cultural relevance begins and ends with all the global recessions Wall Street and the banks cause. Even the government isnt yours--the boosters act like it is "Northeast power" but that's our representative government at work (Obama is an Illinois resident, for example). California is the most represented state as far as Congress goes, all California residents. Your Voltron is becoming less impressive by the minute.

In some ways I see what you mean. Most of the South only cares about football as opposed to the Northeast which strongly supports a much wider array of sports.
