I don't think that's exclusive to Baltimore. I think that's true for most young blacks all across the US. Sadly I have heard reports of that in every city with a high young black presence. The thing is you can't really blame them because these days there are just way to many judgmental people out there. You can no longer try "new things" with your swag without being judged unless your famous or something, then everybody will copy you. Just having something that looks nice on you is no longer needed. As long as it's some expensive "name brand" then you automatically "have swag". Don't get me wrong I LOVE my name brand stuff but it's not all I look at. Young blacks are so closed minded about anything that's not some type of expensive name brand that it's pathetic smh. This generation just lacks originality big time.

Atlanta has to many pants on the ground and Orlando has the tacky Disney World tourist look.

Phildelphia (and some of her lesser NJ suburbs), with the trashed out "Guido/flash mob" look so common on South Street weekend nights now. How sad it's come to this.....

I know it's hard for some to see people with great tans, awesome fit bodies, amazing hair, and cool northeast italian accents. But hey southerners tune in to MTV to watch us on Jersey Shore by the millions, and you can too.

Not without a Court order I don't. You couldn't PAY ME to sit through 5 minutes of that garbage. If I was a NJ resident, I would be appalled at my State being portrayed in such a hideous light.

I'm one of "those people" you hear about that aren't too happy about the dumbing down of TV programming going on right now.

What's scary is that we are producing an entire generation of vapid Snooky wannabe's.

Boston should probably be in contention here, as we're known here for "academic" dress, which doesn't stand out, in any way...

I don't particularly care, anyway..

Pittsburgh? My friends there say they don't really have high-end shopping, not even a Saks?

There's a Saks Downtown... and why do you say "not even a Saks" as if every city is supposed to have one, like it's Wal-Mart or something. Most cities don't have a Saks
