I'm gonna be starting over and looking for place to move. Here is my list

1. Fairfax, VA
2. Greenville, SC
3. Portland, OR

I would enjoy any of these places, but would appreciate feedback. Thanks!

i'm from fairfax county. we have a lot longer red lights than other places i've been around the country. the traffic gets really bad too as you'd imagine around dc.

but the economy is booming here, lots of jobs, top notch metro system, lots of housing, great schools, lots to do, new office development everywhere.

you'll definitely need a gps for a while. i'm born and raised in nova and still couldn't tell you which direction i'm driving in half the time.

You haven't given any criteria, you know the big stuff like JOBS, CLIMATE? and little things like parks, topography, urban/suburban/rural?
