Go with DC, you'll get more out of then just being a student. The culture, the museums, the proximity to Philly/NYC, the jobs, the wealth, the connections, you'll also get much more foreign exposure.....
I go to school in Washington D.C. DC is better! First off something extremely important for a college student in a city public transportation and D.C. has the second best system in the country it is fantastic. Also D.C. is a very walkable city and taxi cabs easy to get. I have enjoyed my college career in D.C. I think its a gret place to be with lots of opportunities in the city.

College town feel no of course not it is a city. There are TONS of college age kids and graduate school aged people in D.C. D.C. has a very young feel to it with the bars filled with university students and young people. It is great.
Well, you have a lot of colleges in both cities. DC has Georgetown, GWU, Howard, American, Catholic, and UMD. Atlanta has Georgia Tech, Emory, Georgia State, Morehouse, Spelman, Clark, Agnes Scott and Oglethorpe. UGA is about 45 mins to an hour away in Athens.
I don't see how one could survive in DC on a student budget. For what you pay to go to GW, you might as well go to NYU. Plus, a lot of stuff in DC seems to cater specifically to young professionals.
A lot of people want those cushy DC Jobs, places like Georgetown, American, George Wahsington, George Mason, Johns Hopkins are going to get first dibs on internships there outside of National Elites as I know schools across the U.S. have DC connects, summer programs and such.
When it comes to certain things like higher education quality is more important than quantity, and DC arguably has the edge when it comes to quality.Neither of the two is a real college town, but DC has the better schools.According to USNWR annual college rankings in the top 200 DC has 7colleges(Georgetown,GWU,UMD,American,Howard,CUA,G eorge Mason University)>>>>>> only 3 for Atlanta(GT,UGA,Emory) National University | Rankings | Data | US News
And Johns Hopkins is right there too... To balance UGA, if somebody wanted to do it since you are including it, DC has UVA right next door as well, which is also better than UGA. So really it is 9 to 3. You have UVA and Georgetown as two of the T14 Law Schools. There is only one other T14 Law school in the entire southeast and it isn't in Atlanta, it's Duke.
