With results rolling in. We won't know daytime workforce for quite sometime for every city. Make a prediction for the top 5 densest cities in the daytime work week in the U.S. I would say:
1. NYC
2. San Francisco
3. Washington D.C.
4. Boston
5. Chicago

wouldn't it just be the top 5 densest cities since the actual numbers don't change that much for any city except DC?
anyway, DC's daytime density is higher than SF. It is about 15K ppsm

D.C.'s daytime density is probably closer to 18,000 people per sq. mile now in the daytime. The daytime population was like 980,000 in 2000. That number is probably close to 1,100,000 now. Anyway, San Fran still has a higher density I think with a 900,000+ daytime population, San Fran is at 19,000-20,000 people per sq. mile.

yeah, SF should be higher, what was I thinking.
but yeah, SF, DC, and Boston are all small cities land wise with large daytime populations.
Manhattan's daytime population would be interesting. Found it. Total daytime population: 2,874,003, daytime population density 125,000 per square mile. Interestingly, only slightly higher than its peak residential population in 1920 (2,744,183).
Manhattan's daytime population would be interesting.
How about Tokyo's???
