philly/nyc. the only place on the west that catches my attention is the bay area.

the only parts of l.a that catch my attention are the wealthy parts, and the downtown.

sd? i could never see myself living their.

Criteria:
- Weather LA/SD
- Scenery LA/SD
- Economy NY/Phila
- Parks LA/SD
- Waterfront Tied
- Nightlife NY/Phila
- Safety NY/Phila
- Downtown activity NY/Phila
- Shopping NY/Phila
- Diversity NY/Phila
- Housing stock NY/Phila
- School systems (K-12) NY/Phila
- Higher education (Colleges & Universities) NY/Phila
- Mass Transit NY/Phila
- Niche Industry (What are they for either?) Tied
- Pace of life LA/SD
- Quality of life Tied
- Cost of living NY/Phila
- Dining scene NY/Phila

Questions:
- Which one would you rather live in? And why?

I love both, for me it comes down to this:

Would I rather raise my kids somewhere in or between NYC and Philly, or somewhere in or between LA and San Diego?

NYC/Philly wins hands down, as my home is almost exactly equidistant from both.

Why would San Diego want you? You don't use CAPS, your grammar is lousy and you can't spell 'there'? We're very happy that you're not coming.

I find it funny that you left out the blighted areas of los angeles. And why did you compare philly to camden and newark, they are nothing alike.

Yep a Cheap Trick.

The counties surrounding and linking NYC+ Philly are a who's who of affluence in America. 1/4 to a 1/3 of all wealthiest counties in america reside in the geographically smallish NYC-Philly metropolis.

It's funny when people talk about Camden as if it's a big city. It's like 10 sq. mi, has what only 70000 people, and it's not even a blip on the radar culturally, socially, or economically. People in Camden County barely even notice it exists, beyond going to see a show at Tweeter Center (well now Susquehanna Bank Center) or going to a Riversharks game.
