Default Bronx+Brooklyn(only) vs any american city?

If the bx and brooklyn were a city by itself how would it stack up against americas greatest cities. Discuss and disregard manhattan, queens and staten island

Doubt it. The combination between them two would make the biggest city in america. With world class institutions to boot

Oh, God...not another one of these threads...

Answer: It wouldn't be the greatest city in the world anymore. Regardless of population, it would be behind San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington.

You're just opening yourself up for bashing w/ threads like this BTW.

If Manhattan, Queens & Staten Island were still NY, it would be #2, not #1 biggest, only behind NYC lol

Losing Manhattan would be a huge blow. When the rest of the world thinks of NYC, most of them think about Times Square and Wall Street.

My parents live in Staten Island, I go there often, and it might as well be a part of New Jersey as far as I'm concerned. It's nothing like the other 4 boroughs.

It would be probably the most dirty ghetto of a large city with the worst skyline.
Brooklyns skyline rivals Tulsa, or Boise.
