Surprised Penn State was among the top 25 in many of these categories; never surprised to see Penn. Also a few Temples and Pitts - The PA state schools (Penn State, Pitt, and Temple) and UPenn seemed to be in here a lot, glad to see.

Overall many usual suspects

Edit: Missed a few Carnegie Mellons too - good showing for PA

Yes, I was immensely impressed by the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill as well as the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Those 2, and many others(like the ones you mentioned) who dont always get the spotlight did exceptionally well.

Our nation has excellent schools all over and that benefits us all.

I was also impressed with those 2 state schools. Cornell impressed me eventhough it is an Ivy League school, because it was on most lists and gets viewed as a "lower" level Ivy.

I believe there was a NY State college on every list and it was nice to see Syracuse University top a couple of the lists. Nice to see SUNY schools like Stony Brook, Albany and Buffalo, as well as CUNY schools like John Jay, Hunter and the Grad. School.

Agree and good to see many of these schools which are pretty damn good get some rec. (seems broader than usual among the top schools)

There really is an abundance of great schools all over the country

The University of Texas in Austin was in many of those lists as well. Yet there are some in Texas that believe it's overall ranking is overrated. This list shows that UT maybe underrated. For instance, Rice is supposed to be the best school by far in the state and it is a great school. Yet the different academic departments at Texas are rated higher than Rice.

UT are always on these lists, I have never heard anyone say UT was overrated. I hear the city that it is in is overrated all the time tho
