I think it's a little unfair to compare a state to three cities. I think Orlando has the best. IMO they have the best Disney Parks, Universal Parks, Sea World Parks. You also cannot beat or find any park like Islands of Adventures. The themeing, variety of rides and experience that that park gives you can be found nowhere else.

L.A. is second, Ohio is third, and IMO San Diego is rather weak compared to these.

I remember being sort of dissapointed, going to Disney World and other theme parks in Orlando when I was a kid. I was used to the much more exciting rides (especially the roller coasters!) at Canada's Wonderland (just outside of Toronto), and everything in Orlando just seemed so lame by comparison.

you should try Six Flags Magic Mountain in LA you wont be dissapointed, its the best thrill park on the planet with 18 coasters, especially the most intense ones like, X2, Tatsu, Goliath, Green Lantern, Deja Vu, Superman, Viper, Scream, Riddlers Revenge, collossus, and Batman.

As much as I love L.A., I voted Orlando. The variety of parks Orlando offers put it over the top, imo.
