GA for me. Mountains, coast, borders Florida(), Atlanta, Savannah, GA tech, Emory, SCAD, UGA (go Gators), proximity to Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mex., Golf in Augusta, borders SC, BBQ, Hartsfield, Coke (the drink), peaches, peanuts, cotton, St. Simon's Island, better weather, and the list goes on.

It has the kind of lifestyle I like. Atlanta seems like a city that when I get to know it, I will surely love it.
I'm not into that culture and historical atmosphere type of person. I want new, progressive, big, and comfortable lifestyle. All of which Atlanta can offer me. Moderate density, and spaced out.
Jersey City seems nice though, the only thing is, I do not like density very much (unless it is spaced out where you kind of have your room without someone being 2 feet close to you). Makes me want to punch someone in the face. To visit, hell yes! To live, no.
As a state georgia can't compere with Jersey, and North Jersey(Middlesex, Union, Essex, Bergen, Passaic, Hudson) blows ATL(Fulton, Gwinett, DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton, Forsyth, Cherokee, Fayette, douglas, carroll, coweta etc.) away in terms of urbanity and ammenities.
Jersey, as much as I hate it, is a far more developed and progressive state than georgia.
Jersey, overall. But Atlanta does pack a powerful punch.
The real answer: for states as large (pop) as these two. It entirely comes down to one's preference for northern lifestyle or southern lifestyle. As someone stated earlier, these two states are almost opposite extremes.
Georgia off the strength of Atlanta alone. Theres no location in jersey on the level of Atlanta
but jersey is bordered by two big and great cities
