I tend to avoid threads like this, but the most gully area in Oakland would probably be Sobrante Park despite not looking gully.

I've been damn near everywhere in East Oakland but I would NEVER show my face there unless I was with somebody from there or working at the school. There's literally nowhere else in the entire city I would say that for... not even the projects.

this area is absolutely awful. it is the worst section of what is known in Rochester as the "crescent of poverty". I'm from New Orleans. 5th Ward. But my story takes place in the 3rd Ward. So my homeboy's big brother had this pitbull. She wasn't trained to attack or anything like that but one day she got loose and bit this lil girl in the arm. She had to get some stitches but she was ok. Lil girl's dad comes over and they talk it out...ol dude told my homeboy's bro to kill the dog and pay for the hospital bill and things would be straight. Everything was cool till they bumped into each other at the club one day and they started poppin off at the mouth...I don't know who started it though. Well the dude goes to my homeboy's house, kidnaps the dog and throws him off a building and shoots the dog up. In return the dude got 3 shots to the back. Bro got arrested but down here you only get 60 days for murder so he was back out in 2 months. More gun play and door kickin went back n forth for a good minute. Someone's aunt got attacked, someone's house got burned down, and last i heard someone was bein drug out the river. Real talk. I got plenty more stories man NOLA go hard
