I've had the most fun in and around SF and Denver...so guess I would go with those...
I'm sure the others are fine too.

Tie between Seattle & L.A. for me. Love the Bay Area, San Diego and the Sedona/Flagstaff areas too, but to live either Seattle or L.A.

Not counting LA since I live here, I went with SF. I have a feeling that I'd like Seattle as well, but I've never been.

Some of the cities on this list are completely incomparable. Casper v. LA?!? But I guess you can get an idea of what type of city people prefer. But having been to Casper and Cheyenne there's really no reason anyone would pick them IMO. Even if you like that type of city, the comparable cities in Montana are preferable.

Having started threads and leaving the little things out, I tend to get harped on more than adding the odd ones in. So you are probably right, Casper/Cheyenne will likely remain at zero, but nonetheless I wanted to include every state in the West. And you never know if the Wyoming homer might show up. That said, Missoula, MT is one of the nicer places I've been to in the west. A great college town set in the Rockies. I drove up to Cheyenne, WY out of Denver one time (just to say I've been to WY and add another state to my list). I spent the afternoon walking around the place. It's alright, very cowboy and western in character. It's set in the prairies as the Front Range Rockies seem to disappear heading north out of Denver, and yes it's very small and pretty much off the radar.
